Who can Apply?
Anyone of any caste or creed living in India and any organisation registered in India can apply for financial aid.

Can I apply for ANY Medical condition?
You can apply for all medical conditions except Cochlear Implants, Dental, Cataracts, Growth Hormone, Cosmetic Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Pregnancy.

Can I apply for Non-Medical reasons?
You can apply for any reason or purpose. Our staff will guide you if you have any questions.

What documents are required for application?
Documents required later may include some of the following depending on your need:

If we are receiving aid from Mahatma Phule Yojana, Chief Ministers Fund or Prime Ministers Fund can we still apply?
Yes. But you must write on the form whatever you are getting free through the scheme.

Is an Income Certificate necessary?
Yes. You should have an income certificate either from The Tehsildar or from your Employer or Form 16. If you cannot comply, please ask us what to do.

Is it necessary to send the Medical Social Worker’s letter also along with the Doctor’s letter?
If your hospital has a Medical Social Worker, then you must send his or her letter.

Can we submit the form without the doctor having filled any details or without his Signature or Stamp?
If the applicant is admitted in hospital or is suffering from Cancer then the doctor must fill in the details and sign and stamp the form. In other cases there is no need for this. If there is a problem, you can contact us, and we will help you.

If the applicant is admitted to hospital, can we get help immediately?
Payment may not be released within the time required – but we do try whenever possible. If the need for funds is urgent you must state that as early as possible.

Can we apply for Scholarship or loan for Higher study in India or abroad?
You may apply but we offer aid for any higher studies only in rare cases.

Can we get help for our School going children?
We give aid only to the school going children from disadvantaged families such as single parent families, or where a family member has a serious or chronic medical issue such as Cancer or Dialysis.

Do you consider all hospitals for rendering help?
No. There are some hospitals for which we will not give aid.

Do you consider Doctor’s letter and Prescription which are 6 months to 1 year old?
No. Doctor’s letter and Prescription should not be more than 2 months old.

Can we get aid for Tests or Investigations, Organ Transplant Evaluation Tests, MRI, CT Scan, PET Scan etc.?
Yes.

How long will we have to wait after submitting our form and documents?
We will consider your application at the earliest – but there may be a wait when we have too many
applications.

How do I need to prepare for my meeting?
The person who will be on the phone should know all details.
If you apply for Dialysis or Post Transplant medicine, you need to keep the following documents
ready:
- Keep the medicine strips or bottles next to you – you may need to read them to us.
- Please keep a used injection or outer box with you.

Will I be called to a Meeting?
We will inform you if there is a need for you to attend the meeting.

How much aid can I expect?
The amount of aid given is decided at the time of examination of the application by the trustees and is dependent on several factors.

When will the amount be sent to me?
Generally, payments are made around the 4th and 19th of the month. In case there is an emergency – you may approach us.

Can you send me money in my own bank account?
Generally, we pay all amounts directly to the hospital or school.

How will I know when the money is sent and how much is sent?
We will send you a WhatsApp message with the details of the amount and payment. These details are also sent to the hospital or school.

What is the procedure if the applicant gets discharged from hospital before the meeting?
We generally make payment to the hospital only if the bill has not been paid in full.

How often can we apply for aid?
You can apply 12 months after your previous meeting.
